How do we extinguish scented candles after using them? Extinguishing scented candles correctly can avoid black smoke and glass explosions, while extending the service life

of candles. The following are specific methods and precautions:

Use professional candle extinguishing tools

1. Candle cover (candle extinguishing clock): directly cover the candle to isolate oxygen and let it extinguish naturally. This is the most recommended way, smokeless and safe.

2. Candle hook/candle cutter: Dip the candle wick into wax oil and then straighten it to extinguish the flame and reduce black smoke (careful operation).

Avoid wrong methods

1. Do not blow it out with your mouth: it will cause black smoke and wax oil to splash, and may also allow unburned carbon particles to adhere to the wall of the c2. Do not use a wet towel or water: sudden cooling may cause the glass to explode (especially poor quality glass or after long burning).

Prevent glass from bursting

1. Control the burning time: a single burn should not exceed 3-4 hours to avoid overheating of the cup wall.

2. Choose heat-resistant glass: make sure the candle container is marked with "high temperature resistant" or "candle-only".

3. Trim the candle wick before extinguishing: Keep the wick length between 5-8mm. If it is too long, it will easily produce black smoke and local high temperature.

Other precautions

1. Keep the candle clean: clean the candle wick debris or impurities left in the cup in time.

2. Avoid direct blowing from the vent: wind may make the flame unstable and increase the risk of uneven heating of the glass.

Through the above methods, you can safely extinguish the candle while maintaining the user experience and safety. If the candle cup has cracks or is severely blackened,

it is recommended to replace the container to ensure safety.
