* Trim the wick before each lighting! This is the most crucial step. Using wick cutters or regular scissors, trim the end of the wick to a length of approximately 3-5 millimeters. This ensures a clean, strong start for each burn.
• Note: After the wick burns, a charcoal "knot" will remain. This knot needs to be gently flicked or pinched off before the next trimming.
2. Incomplete Initial Burning ("Memory Ring" Problem)
• Cause: Scented candles have a "burning memory." If the surface wax doesn't completely melt and form a smooth wax pool (i.e., the edges are melted) when first lit, subsequent burning will be confined to a small pit in the center.
The wax cannot adequately supply the wick, causing the flame to weaken over time.

5. Wick Design or Material
· Causes: Wood wicks come in different thicknesses and weaving methods. If the wick used in this candle is too thin for the diameter of the wax pool or is poorly designed, it may also result in insufficient flame.
